Describing The Settings (Yeo Jun Peng)

Image Castle 1:
A tall and majestic castle, made of bricks from different types of white soothing colors, its light blue cone shaped roof enhanced the castle's purity and gentle as it is in a surrounding which has green as a main color. It stood mighty and strong in the middle of a river, surrounded by rough and strong bricks. In front of the castle lies a bridge which connects the land with the castle doors, the seemingly distilled water flows slowly under the bridge. One look at it makes your wonder what is inside the castle.

Image Castle 2:
On the top of a rough hill, there is a castle which reads death. A narrow curvy road leading from the top of the hill to the main road. In the middle of the road there is a deep canyon located there, causing the road to be shut half way. The canyon used as a warning for trespassers to not go through or die. In the castle, lived a hideous, most unimaginable being......

The two castles

There were birds chirping and you could hear people talking. There was a party being held in the enormous castle, people were waiting outside enjoying the sceneries. The garden filled with amazing flowers were specially colourful today. When looking up you could see birds flying, and the castle was always in your view. Everyone came in their best shirts and dresses, but nobody was as well dressed as the princess that was getting married that day. The castle were decorated with flowers at every corner, white fabrics at every window and everything was made in glass, giving the castle a very grand look. When the princess walked in, everyone was dazzled by her beautiful dress. Castle B:
There was a story once told by the villagers that there was something or someone lurking in the abandoned castle of Al-mahad. Nobody who set foot on the path to the castle ever returned.
I never believed it but thinking about the castle gave me a weird feeling, looking at the eerie castle from a far away distance just scares me. The mist around the castle allowed it to be even spookier. There were no life around the castle, it just stood there alone. As everyday pass, the curiosity in me grows bigger and bigger. I wanted to go so badly that I did not care about the rumours. One day, it seemed like the castle was calling out for me, I could not control the urge and ran. I lived to regret that day...

Description of Castles

Image A: Image of a Beautiful Castle
The gigantic castle stood tall, with a quiet stream flowing beside it. Tall trees were lining one side of the stream. Lush green pastures were growing beside the castle. All its grand pinnacles were covered with a sky blue except the tallest one which was golden in colour. The flags were waving in the cool breeze and all was serene. The castle appeared to be cheerful. The drawbridge was down, inviting people to view its beautiful interior. I stepped into the main door. I could hear my footsteps on the marble floor echoing in the long hall. On the walls, paintings of its past inhabitants were covering it. At one point, something unexpected jumped from nowhere.

Image B: Image of a Castle set on a Hill Top
The bleak castle sat on its rocky red hill. Its white walls seemed lonely. Its winding path leading to the door seemed dangerous. The bridge was broken into half, threatening any unobservant traveller. Legend goes that a beautiful princess once lived there, all by herself, waiting for someone to save her. She eventually died of old age and her ghost still lives there, waiting for anyone to pass by there.

Castle Description

PICTURE 1

In the distance stood a castle, on a mountain top. The monotonous blue flags flying in the wind above the spires. The walls were white, but it looked like a dark place. Against the horizon, the castle looked even more dubious. The long path to the wondrous castle was broken and worn out, preventing travelers from entering. It seemed as though nobody had lived there for a long time, adding to the effect. A chill went down my spine. The castle beckoned me, luring me to enter. The night was drawing near, and I had no choice but to camp somewhere for the night. But how was I to pass the broken bridge? I could see only one way, but it was dangerous, and would bring me close to death. I hesitated. Just then, I heard wolves howling in the distance. That made up my mind , and I moved to the ledge, shuffling across the deep abyss. Better I die trying than be eaten by wolves, I thought.

PICTURE 2

A beautiful castle stood before, less than 500 metres away. The castle was alive with colours, making me feel happy. The castle exuded an aura, reaching out to my very being, filling it with joy. Everything about the castle was peaceful, with not a sound of human activity, only the soothing sound of nature around me. The stream flowing beside the castle was undisturbed, the surface of the water smooth. The surroundings were full of lush greenery, and the air was fresh. A breeze of cool air blew, messing my hair. I stepped towards the castle, admiring the architecture. The sky-blue roofs of the spires were cheerful, and the golden towers gave it a royal feeling. This castle had not been touched in years, and I could explore it without fear of being caught. The closeness with nature refreshed me, and gave me a wonderful feeling. I had never felt like this before, and was confident that there was magic lingering in the air. I never wanted to leave the place. This was a place of dreams, something that could be found only in storytales. I would make it my home.
